The trial lesson
Is the trial lesson really free?
Yes. It lasts 40 minutes and costs nothing. There's no commitment — if it doesn't click, it ends there.
How many lessons will I need?
It varies from person to person. After the trial lesson Raf gives you an honest estimate, and you discuss it before choosing a package.
Where do we meet for the trial lesson?
Wherever suits you within the area — at home, before school or after work. Raf picks you up.
Am I committed to anything afterwards?
No. You get an honest estimate and take your time to think it over. If it doesn't click, it ends there.
Lessons and packages
What if I need more lessons than my package includes?
They're charged at your package's hourly rate, not the higher single-lesson rate. So you never pay for a whole new package.
And if I need fewer?
You get €45 back for each unused lesson. A fixed amount, so you know exactly where you stand.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes, spread over up to six months. You agree the instalments together before you start.
Can I switch from another driving school?
Yes. Start with a trial lesson so Raf can see where you are. After that you can take single lessons or move into a package.
How long is a lesson?
60 minutes. So a package is that many one-hour lessons.
Practical
Is the car a manual or an automatic?
A manual Volkswagen Golf 7. That earns you a licence without the automatic restriction, so you'll be allowed to drive both.
Do I need to pass my theory test first?
No, you can start driving lessons straight away. You only need the theory certificate before you can sit the practical test.
Will I be picked up?
Yes, anywhere in the area. At home, before school or after work — whatever suits you.
Where will I take my test?
At the CBR test centre in Urmond. We drive there during lessons too, so you'll know the area.
How do I cancel or move a lesson?
Just call or message, at least 24 hours before the lesson. Any later and the lesson unfortunately has to be charged — that hour is reserved for you, and at such short notice Raf can't give it to anyone else.
